It’s a Helice hat trick for Lyalvale Express!

Lyalvale-sponsored Helice shooters have swept the board with a Championship hat trick thanks to Donovan Jenkin, Jonti Spillman and Adrian Parkin-Coates

Lyalvale Express-sponsored shooters have managed to claim the top placing in all three Championships this year, with Donovan Jenkin’s outstanding 19/20 at the English Championships, held at Rugby & District Trap Club on October 25, completing the trio of medals. Donovan had to compete not only with the other 60 shooters, but also against the rain and strengthening wind which at times made the targets especially tricky. We have watched Jenkin competing and training several times this year, and are overjoyed to see his unwavering focus and dedicated practice paying off. A huge well done from all of us here, Donovan. A little earlier in the year, it was Lyalvale-sponsored Adrian Parkin-Coates at the top of the podium at the UK Championship, which was also held at Rugby in September. Adrian managed to beat a field of 47 with an absolutely stunning 24/24. You literally can’t get any better than that! The catalyst for Lyalvale’s Helice hat trick was young superstar Jonti Spillman, who absolutely smashed it to claim British Champ and Junior Champ at the British Grand Prix held at Invicta Gun Club. Jonti shot 23/24 and was sole high gun from a field of 50 shooters, he has a very bright future ahead of him.

Helice as a discipline is beginning to gain traction in the UK, with three CPSA directors overseeing the English Champs, where Donovan triumphed, for the first time in the club’s memory.
