Wirral Guns opened in November 2011 as a fully-stocked airgun shop, by owner and manager, Nick Carney. In 2018, Nick was lucky enough to find a location with larger premises that would permit shooting to take place on site, and give him the scope to expand his product range and repair services.

The 28-yard indoor shooting range was founded, and after a great deal of work, it opened in January 2019. Here, shooting enthusiasts can enjoy shooting all year round.

The shop's mission is to provide the North West with a unique leisure destination for all air rifle shooting enthusiasts, whether you are a seasoned shooter or just want to try out the sport for the first time.

Knowledgeable

Got a problem with your pride and joy? The staff at Wirral Guns have a great knowledge of their products and are happy to help and advise customers. Wirral has secured partnerships with key manufacturers, such as Weihrauch, Brocock, FX, BSA and Daystate, so are able to supply and maintain these market-leading guns as a manufacturer-approved service and repair centre.

Everything you need

The shop provides a full range of shooting consumables to make sure you can keep shooting, including the most popular brands of airguns, optics, pellets and accessories. If you require a product not in stock, Nick can usually obtain it for you within a few days.

Nick also offers same-day, 300 bar air cylinder fills in store. What if your cylinder is out of date and needs testing? No problem, they can get this done for you, too.

The range club

At Wirral Guns, there is a two-lane, 28-yard indoor airgun range, with a selection of target boxes, spinners, bells, swinging targets and knockdown targets, so there is plenty to keep the shooter occupied.

Shooters can book a one-hour taster session, after which they can choose to become a member. The cost of is £25 a year for an adult, whilst juniors pay £20. Booking is advisable and a shooting lane costs £5 per hour - it does get very busy. For PCP users they have an air supply, which is free of charge whilst using the range.

Spectators are welcome, but must adhere to the same regulations as shooters. Come on over - the Wirral welcome awaits!
