The Ranges in Devizes, home to Wiltshire Shooting Centre and Wiltshire Ballistics, was badly damaged following a kitchen fire in July 2018. Since then, the team have been working tirelessly to get the shop and range open again.

The doors will open formally from 11am on Saturday, March 30 with a special, family-friendly open day planned in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity.

Food and refreshments will be available between 12-2pm, and shooting will be available on a first come first served basis, following the official opening at 12.30pm.

The fire crew from Devizes will be in attendance and there will be some amazing prizes to auction off to help raise additional funds for the charity. There will also be limited tours available of the Ballistic testing facility at the rear of the tunnel.

Entry is £6 on the day or £5 in advance when booked online.

Following an investment of over £250,000, the shop at The Ranges has benefitted from a full rebuild, the 25 yard range now has access to a members and seated viewing area, and is equipped with electronically controlled Intarso targets. Additionally the new 50 yard range has been built, also fitted with Intarso targets and a seated viewing area.
